We went to see the Texas Longhorns in downtown Fort Worth. Despite some snide remarks from the peanut gallery ("where's the dust?") we had a fun time and really enjoyed the steakhouse dinner (thanks Lathe).

Grandma got to eat lunch in the cafeteria with the twins, and then went and spent some time in their classes. They are both so smart and made me feel so special and loved. We had fun together.

Good food, Brookly! She had lots of yummy meals planned and we enjoyed the new recipes. Dinner time chats were always anticipated in the evenings.

The fun backyard where some memories were made...Grumps and Mark got creative with some unused bricks and blocked off the fence so Babs can't dig out and terrorize the neighbors.

Jenny chillin'on the couch, doing her "find a word" puzzles.

Lathe could be heard practicing on his brand new electric guitar. He would rather play guitar music than watch T.V. and he has really progressed thru hours of dedicated playing time. Congrads, Lathe! You deserve it!

Getting to tuck the grandkiddies in at bedtime was an extra special treat. So sweet.

A pajama party every night, and Brookly's beautiful flowers that bloomed and became more beautiful each day...and Babs.

A couple crazy games of pool, with unlikely winners, thanks to some wild shots.

"Grumps" and his favorite spot on the couch during the beginning of March Madness week.

This was my favorite shot of Grumps, as we drove on the trip, sharing stories from his life, or his political take on the government or the world. The sign meant we were almost halfway home. Calla wanted to stand at the border. I beg to differ that New Mexico is a "land of enchantment"...but hey, it was a great trip!
