Cindy is now a citizen of the United States! It was a very long process for her and Tim, and there were stressful moments, lots of interviews, mountains of paperwork and expense. But she is so worth it! Congratulations Cindy!

Snow provides lots of good moisture for the forests and range land. Makes the world slow down. Makes the world fall down.
Jenny walks gingerly out to the van that comes to pick her up. She usually stomps out the front door with "attitude."
The snow makes Calla dream of snowboarding at Sunrise. Makes her pray for more gray clouds and white snow powder. Priorities.
Makes me practically do the splits trying to get to the truck to warm it up. While I'm trying to pull the frozen truck door open, I hear my neighbor yell out, “Crap!” when he slips and falls on the snow-turned-ice. Makes me call over to him, “You alright, neighbor?” just so he knows I heard him. “Yeah,” he mutters back with a little chagrin.
Snow makes me...grin.

Jenny has learned how to dress herself warm to play in the snow. She hates to be cold, but managed to spend quite a bit of time outdoors this time around.
Calla was dreaming of Sunrise Ski Resort and snowboarding, but had to settle for making tracks around our house and tubing down the hill in the neighborhood. She loves when it snows!
Christmas Moments 2010
Christmas Eve is new pajamas and Grandpa reading "The Night Before Christmas" to us.
Mark got an Amazon "Kindle" to read with, he loves it!
Calla was hoping for a horse or snowboard, instead she got more practical gifts, like a headband, jewelry box and new bed sheets, but accepted them graciously. 
We made gingerbread houses on Christmas Eve. Jenny enjoyed doing it, but really didn't want her picture taken after it was done. 
Jenelle was happy to get a new bathrobe that was soft and pretty on her.
Jenny got a cute headband from Brookly and a new basketball from Santa.
Christmas Day was our first time to "Skype" with Lathe and Brookly's family. So fun!
It was so much fun to have Chris and Jenelle with us, and Dawson and Durham. Poor Durham was pretty sick most of the time, but he had a few moments when he'd perk up and smile. That made everyone smile!

Klepinger Family party
The party was beautiful background music, pastries shipped from Aunt Mary, a fun "White elephant" gift exchange among cousins and a pasta bar for dinner. Outside there was a hot chocolate bar and fire to sit around. Beautiful evening full of the Christmas spirit of family love. Thank you Bob and Leann!
I drove Calla to the ER the other night, with what seemed to be an appendicitis attack. The Dr. wasn't sure, so she sent her home and told us to watch her temperature and pain. After a few days, Calla seems to be better, and we're grateful. She made and frosted some sugar cookies and shared them with the neighbor that helped give her a priesthood blessing. She loves to cook!
2010 Grand Ball "Winter Wonderland"
It always amazes me how talented the wards are when it comes to decorating. They really put a lot of time in and effort and it shows.
Here's the way it looked right before the crowd came thru. We set out 500 plates and when it ended, there were only 24 plates left. Only had to run to the dollar store for a couple bottles of Ranch dressing at the end so the youth servers could have some. We had pork roast, baked potatoes, candied carrots, corn, rolls, salad, fruit, applesauce and chocolate cream puffs. So yummy!

Tillie, Calla and Kaddie went up together first. Then Leah and Jenny and Mom gave it a knee-shaking try.
Grandpa and Jay went up to the highest height in the ladder truck.
A fun weekend
The football helmet and shoulder pads once fit Tim really well...we had some good laughs. Isn't Kamri a little dolly? Connor is at the age his daddy was when he started dreaming of playing football games. They came up to take care of the girls while we met Mark and LeeAnn Freeman at Bison Ranch in Overgaard for a quick weekend getaway. We ate some great food, relaxed by the fireplace, went to Church in Heber and enjoyed a beautiful drive in the forest during the first winter snowfall. Thanks for the memory!
