It was so much fun to have Tim's family and niece Taila Klepinger (Jay's oldest daughter) and her friend Brittany drop by. We attended the morning parade, some went to the arts and crafts fair, and then a big storm hit in the afternoon, so everyone came to our house to take cover! We ate warm soup and homemade bread and watched the lightening show out the dining room window. Good fun!
This morning it was early, Mark had just left for work and I took some clippers out of the tool shed to do some debudding on my roses. This triple cluster of roses (in various stages of growth) just took my breath away. A young new bud, one just beginning to open and one in full bloom. Made me think about the "circle of life" and rejoice in the season I am blessed to be living in...a grandmother. In full bloom. Enjoying her posterity. Grateful for the years of blessings that have come my way. Thank you, Father.
Go carts, fake nails and yummy shaved ice a temple experience all dressed in white. Miniature golf and lots of swimming Movies, a ball game, trampoline jumping. Weeding in the garden so they could Play in the creek... What a memorable "cousin's week!"
It was a night game, and so these aren't the best shots. But she did get to run around the bases...here's proof. Her favorite number to wear is 13. The team name was "Taylor Storm." They had a great season.
LeeAnn Freeman and her daughter Tiffany called to say that were traveling from Colorado to Mesa and were coming thru Snowflake on their way. We met them at Pioneer Park for a quick "Little Ceasar's" pizza picnic. It was fun to spend a few moments sharing some conversation and laughs. Dear friends forever.
Early morning chores for a neighbor on vacation. Hungry bunnies, chickens, goats and cat await Calla's arrival.
Later that day her friend brings baby kittens to cuddle and love and hopefully give away. No takers. Oh, and had I noticed? They have matching nails. Ah,summer fun.

Families
that are stitched together
with love,
seldom unravel.
A truly happy marriage is one in which a woman gives the best years of her life to the man who made them that way.
Quote by Irving Stone
Story writers say that love is concerned only with young people, and the excitement and glamour of romance end at the altar. How blind they are. The best romance is inside marriage; the finest love stories come after the wedding, not before.

Love stories never end...they continue over time and each joy, trial, and tear makes them stronger. There are good years, and hard years in every marriage. But, each moment becomes a part of a beautiful life….and looking back I would never change a moment because each one has brought us to where we are now. And it’s a good place. - Brookly

I have felt the protection of the temple keeping the ugliness of the world out of our home and our family, even though it is all around. I have felt the difference between building our marriage on love and building it on the eternal love that the temple offers. - Jenelle

In your married life as a married couple, everyone comes across difficult times, but knowing the foundation upon which your marriage is based, remembering the covenants made in the temple, feeling the peace and hope that come with children and a temple marriage all make life worth living. - Cindy
